The following documents are necessary to get married in the Dominican Republic:

• Passports (valid minimum for 6 months)
• Birth certificate
• Single status
• If divorced will need Divorce Certificate
• If widowed will need Death Certificate of former spouse
• If under 18 years of age will need evidence of parental consent by statutory declaration
• If adopted will need Adoption Certificate
• If name changed by deed poll will need original documentation
